Mollie Matthews

Mollie Matthews, CPO
American Board Certified Prosthetist Orthotist
Martha "Mollie" Matthews is a graduate of Lees-McRae College in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. She completed advanced training in orthotics and prosthetics through the Newington Certificate Program, followed by a two-year residency with clinical experience in Atlanta and Charlotte. She is board certified in orthotics and prosthetics.
Mollie has spent her career working in North Carolina alongside physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. She has taught prosthetic and orthotic care to rising physical therapy students at Wingate University and is frequently consulted by medical professionals for her expertise in prosthetic technology. She also provides continuing education for the local medical community.

Mollie is committed to staying current with ongoing advancements in prosthetic and orthotic technology. She continually expands her knowledge through advanced education and hands-on training to ensure patients receive thoughtful, modern, and effective care. Her advanced training and clinical expertise include:

- Microprocessor Controlled Knees - Ottobock C-leg, X4, Blatchford's Orion, Proteor Quattro
- Myoelectric Upper Limb including Michelangelo Hand, Bebonic, Dynamic Arm, i-Limb
- Socketless Prosthetic Systems - Martin Bionics - highly adjustable for volume fluctuation
